Been there, done that. Don't seem to be able to fulfill anyone of them. So if anyone asked me, my answer will be , " This year resolution is not to make any resolution this year and next year." Now how's that for a twist? But this might get tricky. If my resolution is not to make any resolution, then will this resolution be a valid resolution as there weren' t suppose to be any resolution. How do one make a non resolution resolution and still call it a resolution? *scratch head*
Enough of resolution, lets review what had happen last year :-
a. Start driving around in KL terrorizing apeks and 'si lai' drivers.
Need to figure out petrol costs, maintenance costs, how much air to fill, how to change a tire. Keep having this nightmare that I fill up too much air and the tyre just blow up. Things are so much easier when you have 2 wheels only. When u went the wrong direction you just got down and push it to the opposite of the road and drive away. In a car, darn, you have to drive past 2 tols before you can U turn.
b. Weed out some betrayers
Prefer not to talk about it. Nevertheless no tears will be shed if he died.
c. Went to first snorkelling trip.
Have nothing but respect for fishermen. The sea is a dangerous but beautiful place. I would only consider playing with it if I have gills.
d. Went to Bangkok for 1st pork burger
Yeah I know they have it in S'pore too but what the heck, since you are in Bangkok and its lunch and you are hungry, you grab a burger. If the burger happen to be a pork burger...who am I to complain huh. Basic survival skills dude.
e. Got a promotion
Not to sound ungrateful or anything, its a suprise and I don't deserve it. Almost develope a personality complex trying to justify within myself the validity of getting it since boss refuse to take it back.
f. MUD
If you ask me, that beat pork burger. Kudos to Super Chu Chai who infected me with this infactuation. For you who don't know check here. For those who are already playing check here.
If i start talking it would take a whole year to write.
g. 10 weddings
Piggy has reach the age that either u marry, u are a gay or u are an old maid.... damn if i fall under the last catagory!!! hahaha... Have paid out > RM500 in total angpow money. I will remember your faces and if I don't get married by age 50 I will throw a big birthday bash and invite all those people to get back my 'modal' so to speak
h. Join gym
Don't know why I bother to join. I am already a pig. Got numerous pigs toys, pig photo frame, pig phone holder, pig hanger, pig key chain and God know what else. Have even been flagged 'A big fat pig' . Wonder why I even bother... you want to buy my membership?
i. Have given some wrong advise and said some wrong things ( to my regret)
Nevertheless lesson learned and piggy have been put to her place properly. Over confidence makes Piggy's head grow too big for her body and she start thinking she is a know-it-all. Nevertheless its a well learned lesson and brought piggy back to earth. To you all out there that piggy have intentionally OR worse UNINTENTIONALY hurt, Piggy deeply apologizes and regrets it to her dying day.
Now that we have covered the bold, the beautiful and the ugly its time to move on to another year. Leave the regrets, learn the lessons, cherish the memories and hope to GOD you live to enjoy another year.
